UAXACLAJUUN UB'AAH K'AWIIL

Dieciocho Conejo

( 18 Rabbit )

Surely the corn will grow today

Our livers glisten

Arranged just so on the tray

Hacemos sacrificios

Surely the corn will grow now

Our gizzards are fresh and quiver

 With great pain and sacrifice

The earth is rich with our blood

18 Rabbit is satisfied

Surely now the corn will grow

 La tierra esta rica

Con nuestra sangre

 Dieciocho Conejo esta satisfecho.

Seguramente ahora el maiz crecera

The earth is rich with our blood

We make sacrifice

The Will Sonnet

Is it your will that I will forget you?

Make this mountain of love like a molehill?

I will will what you will will me to do,

Even will that will my loosing you instill,

I will like a winter kill still loves' crop,

Will fill that task with sad sense of duty,

Teaching my will to know you will to stop,

Will use my quill to quill not your beauty.

If you will to banish your faithful fool,

And will willful will to purgatory,

When love is something will will not overrule,

Will will be enough to change this story?

If you will not will my love, then love wish

Will to love enough to will will vanquish.

THE SEA SONNET

"Let be be finale of seem. The only emperor is the emperor of ice-cream"

Methought I was ripe for Elysium,
For sea changes down in Poseidon's sink,
Foreplaying with fire, now banish-ed from
To watery grave by a vex-ed blink.
By the wreck of reckless son Phaethon
Where changeling horses of Helios play
Round and round that Winter King's blue mansion
From such wonders did I argue and pray
To let fear fall down on this salty floor
Whilst Diana undid the pall of night
By mirror of her moon to see once more
Like unweaving Penelope to fight
Death, be and seem, final king, past scrutiny
For thee, dread fire, my soul is mutiny

"Don't Mess With Will" Karaoke Lyrics #Shakespeare

DON'T MESS WITH WILL

Don't mess with Will.

Don't mess with Will.

Lo, lo, lo, lo.

Don't mess with Will.

Don't mess with Will.

Good friends forbear!

Please say you swear!

Not to move his stone.

Leave it alone!

Nonny, na, na.

Now this curse covers William's crypt,

But lately, have you heard?

Will will get you if you SULLY his script,

And credit others with his words!

Churls keep away!

The curse is in play!

Nonny, na, na.

Don't mess with Will.

Don't mess with Will.

Nonny, hey, hey.

Well, we know freedom can be foppery,

And morality can feel like a jail,

But if this curse doth naught to stoppeth thee,

Lo! Will's preturb-ed spirit thee will assail.

Will's here to stay!

Roland roll away!

Nonny, hey, hey.

Don't call him Eddie de Vere,

Or Bacon

Or Chris!

That's too much ado da lee do!

That's too much amiss!

Cause Will is Will,

And Will will fulfill.

Nonny, na, na.

If you move the stones,

If you touch his bones,

If you call him John Doe, Smith or Jones,

You'll find this curse is true,

This curse is for you!

Nonny, nonny.

Fa, la, la, la.

Don't mess with Will.

Lo, lo, lo, lo!

Cause if you do,

Curse-ed are you!

Well, I didn't come to bury,

My message is merry,

Roland is a lubberly boy.

And Will was SOLID flesh,

Not so temporary,

Not so easy to destroy!

Will's here to stay!

Roland is a knave!

Nonny, na, na!

de Vere ain't Will!

Roland is a jack-sauce pill!

Better say goodbye!

Come not Willy nigh!

Roland, what you say?!

Will wrote his plays!

And his sonnets too!

What's the matter you!?

de Vere is not Will!

Roland melt away!

Imperceiverant, arrant, jack'nape knave!

Will will get thee from the grave!

O, yes Will will!

Nonny, hey, hey!

Don't mess with Will!

Nonny, na, na!

"Don't Mess With Will" suggests that Shakespeare's famous curse may extend beyond stones and bones and into the authorship wars.

WHEN CAESARS FALL

WHEN CAESARS FALL

"You are the bread and the knife." - Billy Collins & Jacques Crickillon

You are my happy dagger,

My Holy Grail,

Life's blood,

And last words.

You are the dance of every dawn,

And the red moon rising on the edge of the sea.

You are the scent of baking bread,

And the sound of free birds.

However,

You are not chewing gum,

Stuck under some counter,

Or a bad hair day.

And you are certainly not laminated.

You are just too tough to laminate.

It is possible that you are a delicious

Lupercal dish in the fridge,

Maybe even a smidge underfed,

But you are not even close

To being a sea monster.

And a quick look in the mirror will show

That you are neither Little Jack Horner,

Bo-Peep's Pan,

Nor a goat mouse.

It might interest you to know

That the creaking of the floor boards

On the stage after-hours

Is just me

Searching for something Godot.

I also happen to be a monkey bar,

And a mayonaise jar

Full of fireflies,

And an aspirin

In a vase

Of wild white flowers.

I am sometimes the eve of the Ides of March,

And Yo Yo Ma's saddest string.

You are not rust

Or the cheap whine of worry,

Or the dried blood of Mother Earth

That rides the aching devil winds

When Caesars fall.
